DynaMo (version 2.0) is the latest version of DynaMo. In particular, this version
contains is a menu driven Windows stand-alone application with advanced
graphical user interfaces which allows you to solve and analyze selected standard dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models. You do not need any programming skills nor any installation of
e.g. MATLAB.
Two applications are provided. First, the Hansen Real Business Cycle model for
the analysis of the implications of technology shocks on aggregate fluctuations.
Second, a DSGE model for the analysis of the macroeconomic consequences of
tax and public spending changes.
The application is a compiled version of Harald Uhlig's Toolkit files for MATLAB. However version 2.0 does not allow you to implement your own models. If you like to do so, please refer to the Toolkit webpage. Analyzing selected Dynamic Models without MATLAB - DynaMo is the right application for you. However, you are not allowed to sell this software or otherwise impinge on its free distribution.
HansenDynaMo
This application provides the Hansen Real Business Cycle Model as a Windows
stand-alone application with advanced graphical user interfaces. It allows you
to study the implications
of technology shocks on aggregate fluctuations. For a documentation of the
Hansen model see this
Minister of Finance DynaMo
This program provides a dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model for the
analysis of fiscal policy. In particular, a menu driven Windows stand-alone
application allows you to study the
macroeconomic consequences of tax and public spending changes. For a
documentation of the model see this
